Great photo CC. I hope the worst of winter is behind you.

Hally what terrible news.  My thoughts are with you and your  family.

You're friend is very lucky to have you Robyn.

Hally take care, I'm sending hugs down Leach Highway to you and your 2 boys.

CC lovely photo. Robyn how horrid for your friend, it would be devastating at any time of life.

DD you seem to have pulled off 2 lovely meals. I hope your guests enjoyed themselves. ( how could they not with such lovely food and wine).
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

After a sleep in this morning I went for  a 16km run, had some brunch and now I am catching up here before mowing the lawns and weeding.

Hiya
So sorry to read about your MIL Hally and your friend Robin.

Lovely picture CC and lovely food DD.

Sending positive vibes from CC's rainbow all around the world. We all need it.

Now decided it will be child's blanket more than just for baby as it is getting larger as it is joined! Plus I never realised that actually with all the colours and different stitches It is also turning into a work of art. Not bad for something that has kept me totally focused through the very hardest of times.

Very sad to say it looks like another drowning here  :(
3 helicopters and numerous rescue boats have been searching for the last 2 hours for a boy who went swimming and didn't return to the beach. There are still loads  of surf lifesavers out on jet skis also. I presume they will continue searching until darkness sets in. It's not possible that he could still be alive but hopefully a miracle will occur

That scene must be the only downside to living where you are MF - you know something is wrong with all that activity.

Shocking..... There are still loads of people here watching and no doubt praying for a miracle but its been more than two hours now . The helicopter have caused so much spray that we can barely see out of the windows. Our oceans here in Australia are so inviting but also very dangerous

Absolutely Kimmyh. We were just getting ready to go out when we heard the helicopter and looked out.
Needless to say we didn't go out for dinner. Still loads of activity here but I am sure it's too late for a rescue now  :(
