Cookie so sorry to hear about your DD and hope they get to the bottom of it soon.  :(
Lucky it was before you left for Singapore. Hopefully you can reschedule your trip

Frozzie it is every mothers nightmare and I will never forget it. That poor family.
Hally keep strong and we know what you are going through as we lost my dad and DH's dad within 3 months of each other. More hugs x

Sorry to hear about DD Cookie but the timing was perfect - just like my problem last year, you wouldn't have wanted it happening once you had left for your trip.  It is unbelievable that they can't get to the bottom of it all and if the symptoms are the same as she had before, it will keep coming back if they cannot diagnose it this time.  We all know health is more important than holidays but it's perfectly normal having a twinge of disappointment then moving on to the problem at hand.  I'm sure DD will reschedule the trip.

Michele, if telling the kids you were going to have a garage sale changed their minds that's great - it is a bit strange though.  The kids have so much these days that you wouldn't think they would want any of our unwanted gear but they must have had a rethink  :D  I'm sure you will still have enough for your planned garage sale.

maddy you are indeed very lucky to have such good neighbours.

What a lot of news on here.
So sorry cookie about DD, hope they keep looking. My brother was sent home and then had peritonitis following burst appendix about 5 yrs ago. You can ave another holiday but it would be a big anticlimax.
Big hugs M F to all.

Just having a tea break before my physio appt for my back, it's been bad for several weeks now, stress I think.
Been busy preparing house for DH hospital discharge following a major op. collecting later today.
Am not saying much on here, but this is why I've been quiet on forum for a while.

Put up shower curtain, made up spare room with deep cleaning.
Upstairs  TV not working, man coming tomorrow.
Plumber finishing off other shower later in week.

Will be easier for me without visiting and long journeys taking up half of every day.

Nice to hear DH is coming home DJ - you are right, life will be so much easier having him with you than having to visit him in hospital every day.  I hope he is doing well and will continue to improve. Put your nurses cap on my dear, you will need it. He'll be much more comfortable at home too, who can sleep in hospitals with all that noise around them >:(   Best wishes to you both.

MF - I am so sorry :( That would be haunting for you. The poor boy and his family, it's terrible.

Cookie - oh no! Your poor DD. I hope she feels better and they figure out what's going on for her quickly. Will you be able to reschedue your trip?

Just found out that I got a callback the day after my interview last week. But the message has just come through now!  ??? :-))

Super stressed and hoping I haven't missed out on the job. I got the best vibe while I was there and I really want to work there.

Keep your fingers crossed for me because now I'm waiting on a call back again.

Done some work from home today, although been far too good at procrastinating!
Other than that, I've been ferrying the kids to school kindy etc, done lots of washing (still needs folding), and just got back from shoe shopping with the kids (gumboots for DS and everyday shoes for DD).
