I'm loving your photos Cookie :)

Today we packed up the last of our belongings and did the final sweep & mop of our old house  ;D We had some great times there and it is a lovely spot but now looking forward to the future :) A big sigh of relief for me tonight!

Nice snaps Cookie.

Here's hoping your new house will be just as happy a place as the one you've just left Jamberie.

Thanks for the best wishes :)
We are in limbo for a little while before our new house settles :-\ but it's ok because we are able to house sit for my parents for 5 weeks then after that we will make another move... just a short one across the road ;D It will all be worth it at the end :)

well I have pages of news to catch up on I have been so busy that I have hardly been on the forum.

love the photos of your trip Cookie.

Am busy putting the final touches to my speech ready for the big competition in less than two weeks ( winner of that state final goes to USA in August) , so that has been taking up a lot of time, plus hectic at work.

today we booked our flights for a visit back to the UK in July, five of us are going but DH and DD2 are coming a bit later due to work.  I have already been planning a side trip to Barcelona, a west end show or two and a ride on the barge Campden Lock, not to mention the empty suitcases that go over and come back full, cant wait, haven't been back for over two years this time round.

Hope all the lovely forum ladies had a wonderful Mothers Day x

Ghm a great trip book.

It will come quick, we leave for ours on 16th August.

Dh has gone away for business this morning, so I am left with the 2 boys.

I have been told this is normal but lr age 11 nearly 12 managed to access our internet & he looked at girlie sites & then showed cp who said he was shocked. Have contacted the agency as we dont have a clue wht to do. We have disabled all interet apart from my ipad atm. Dh & I were both in shock.

wow Hally - that really came out of left field for you!!!  If you can don't react to it.  If you can, explain to him - as firmly as you can - that's highly unacceptable, bring up all the aspects of respect, how these sites do not respect women (or anyone else for that matter!!) and that you won't tolerate it in your house.  Very firm clear boundaries! - and that from now on. because it was such a serious breach of what you expect, there'll be no internet access except upon request/permission.

This poor child simply doesn't know any better and because it's a fairly "normal" part of curiosity at this stage of his life and he's probably had no guidance up until now.  It'll take time and perseverance.  A huge learning curve for all involved, including your son . . . Good luck!!  Would be very interested to hear what the agency has to advise you . . .

Yes GF, he has no boundaries etc.

We were in total shock, never thought when I bought him the ipad that he would do that. He hid it from dh friday night but dh thought it was because he wasnt meant to be playing games. I then looked at recent searches on sunday & went into shock. It spoit mothers day.

So were having another mothers day next weekend when lr goes to respite while I have my wisdom tooth out.

It doesnt rain it pours, i was shocked also when he pulled a worm out of his bottom & showed dh. So we had to worm him too.

As I am on my own tonight so its early to bed, cp will sleep with me.
