Ta lovely ones - still no word from the hospital  :-\

Best wishes to your DH Thermolicious - do you mind me asking what surgery he is having?

Just went to the sports shop and got new bathers, a new jumper and some sports gloves :D

Today I had a lovely lunch at Eurobar with Thermomixlover AKA Wendy.
On the way home picked up a bunch of flowers for the hall table.

That sounds lovely Michele, how exciting that everyone seems to be meeting each other :D
Those flowers are gorgeous too.

Just got a call from the hospital and he is ready for collection!  I am able to leave work at 3pm to get him :)  They are very happy that he is mobile etc as they expected him to have to stay overnight.  Great news and ta for everyones thoughts.  Might just zoom up a nice comforting rissotto for him tonight  8)

Amy - he usually has rhizotomies but the last one wasn't good at all - didn't kill the pain and produced some strange nerve problems :(  So they have had to amp it up.  I'm not sure exactly what he has had done this time but fingers crossed.  Unfortunately it is for an ongoing back injury resulting from a 4wd running him over a number of years ago  :-))  He is a strong one though and rarely lets on how much he is hurting but you can see the pain in his eyes  :'(  Lets hope this will relieve some of it.

Sounds like everything is working out well for everyone.

I've dropped 3 bags off to Vinnies on my way to a large Salvo op shop here at Findon where I again looked for things for the retreat dress up.  Op shops are so up market these days (their display shelves of handbags, shoes etc are as good as any departmental store) that it was hard to find something bizarre but I am sick of looking so grabbed a couple of things and will have a trial dress up later to see which one I prefer.  They'll go back to the op shop after I've finished with them ;D

For the past week I have been asking my mum if she could take me to look for a new mountain bike. She has just texted me saying that she has ordered me one online... for $1050 :o Thank God for bartercard! :D

You won't need a lift to the retreat then?

Wow Stacelee you did have a good and bad day.
Here in Perth (Tas) we are having trouble with someone breaking into cars of a night time and taking items. I have now heard of about 7 people have had there cars broken into and things taken. Perth is only a small town.
It's getting a real problem :(
What is it going to be like in 10 years time :o
