Glad to hear you had a good day in Port Douglas Robyn.
Which restaurant did you have lunch in?
Spoiled for choice up there  :)

Back to work and school today  :(. We had out few days in Sydney and had a lovely time. DS loved having a look at all the places he has seen so many times on tv and it was lovely just wandering around. Unfortunatley we have all been sick so didn't enjoy it as much as we normally would have but it was still great to get away for a few days. The house took a bit of tidying up yesterday as DD was home alone and she was also sick so managed to make a bit of mess but not clean up too much! She had kept it pretty confined though which made it easier.

Sounds lovely Robyn. How far is Port Douglas from where you live?

2hours drive Wonder, we went the inland road there, and back through the coat to Cairns, then home up the gillies range..
Kittens are so cute Michelle, getting bigger, and into mischief. :)

Don't know what possessed me to take on this job at 1830hrs?
Decided I should pull the washing machine out and clean behind it - probably because I cleaned the cupboards early last week.
Beyond gross. We have been here 3yrs and I can't remember cleaning behind the washer since we moved in. Glad that is over with.

Sounds like a nice drive and day Robyn.

Mich I don't even want to imagine what it looks like behind my fridge or washing machine.

Right now I'm drinking a milkshake at the blood bank after a donation (I only do it for the free milkshakes lol), taking my time before going back to work. Regarding the job,  they still haven't made a decision - the recruiter is keeping me updated, I think she's as fed up as I am!

We drove to Kimba today and had a look around. It is much, much greener this time of year and there are fewer kangaroos. Having a relaxing break

We had a weekend away to watch the NBL semis and finals - our team lost the semi, so didn't make the finals, but we had a pretty good time anyway.  The worst part for the kids was our team mascot wasn't at the finals!  The other teams didn't have one.

We got home yesterday afternoon, so today has been our first at-home day for the school holidays - kids haven't driven me insane yet, but thinking I'll go and get the basketball hoop I've been looking at for them tomorrow (if the weather stays fine).

Great photo ES. Where are you off to being out at Kimba?
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
