I can understand your fear Nikkit but she will be home safe and sound and full of excitement
The worst part is when they get their full license and go out in the car on their own for the first time....

Ok, so now I am not so quietly freaking out...
Just had a text from Miss 16 "what ever you do, don't ask for another lesson"
OMG what does that mean???
Astarra I need more than a hug right now... (but will take it anyway...thank you

A big hug from me Nikkit and try not to stress.
Maybe she doesn't like the instructor. That happened with my DG who is almost 18 and she has only recently started taking lessons again although she does have a motor scooter. She is safe so you will find out what the problem is/was when she arrives home

Thank you MF - all hugs greatly appreciated!
Trying to not stress by doing our BAS, just shifting one stress point to another.
I did briefly meet the instructor as Miss 16 left, and must admit found her a bit odd? Not too sure if that is the right word...
Will find out soon enough. Just hope there's no major melt down and confidence lost.

My GD had 2 odd ones which put her off completely and my other GD has one that is really good and she is loving it and will get her full license in 7 weeks
I worry sick about GD on the motor scooter but she mainly uses it for getting too and from work which is 5 minutesfromhome .
I guess the worry never stops

She's home, she's safe, she's smiling and she's all ok. Whew!
Instructor was just not Miss 16's "cup of tea" so to speak, but she has 2 hours in her log book, has learned a few more things and wants to find another instructor next week!
One relieved Mum here
MF, astarra and Amy, thank you for your hugs and thoughts

Thats a relief Nikkit, nothing too serious then
How much do driving lessons cost over there?
You've reminded me that I really need to get onto my driving instructor

Amy, I'm north of the Swan Valley, and her lesson was $120 for 2 hours.
What do you pay for your lessons?
The girls will be starting swimming lessons over in Joondalup next week for 2 weeks, so plenty of time to drive over and back for Miss 16. We will look into another instructor over there too I think.

That's good to know Nikkit and that's what I thought the problem might be.
Hope she finds a good one as there are quite a few not so good ones around.
DD 16 is doing great with hers. They live in Hillary's

Nikkit, I pay $60 for one hour, so it works out the same. I wouldn't like to have a 2 hour driving lesson though
That will be good, practical driving experience for Miss 16. I'm sure she enjoys driving you around
I went through three driving instructors before I found one I liked, and she is the only female instructor down here. Of the three I had before, two were sleazy old men and one was just annoying

I had my yearly nana nap today only to be woken by DH asking what time we had to go out! We were going no-where!

Oh no Judy that's ironic
You don't have much luck when you try to do something for yourself
