I would imagine there was a need for the nurofen Nikkit.  :o

Glad to hear the fluid has shifted Robyn, you must be feeling much better.

Mammoth effort Nikkit - ditch the coffee and nurofen and head to the liquor cabinet.  :D

We went to vivid last night (Sydney light show around Circular Quay, The Rocks and Darling Harbour) it was really good. Today I spent 2 1/2 hrs in the garden for a winter tidy up. Doesn't sound much but it's amazing what you can achieve in that time.

Careful Nikkit, I am sure animal feed is one of the reasons I have a bad back.

Glad you are improving Robyn, do you like to read?

Robyn, I too have just caught up on this thread, take care and fingers are crossed for a diagnosis soon.  You are managing to sound cheerful - a positive attitude is invaluable and if you are bored, there is always heaps of entertainment available on the 'net.  Best wishes for a speedy "getting back to normal" very soon

Nikkit, don't you use a trolly, to help you lift 40 k :) a

a crane.....

I wish! No, too fiddly to use a trolley or anything else. I just have to hump the bags off the back of the ute and drop them into the shed. It isn't hard really as I don't have far to go, but they're just heavy. I have noticed they are doing 25kilo bags now as well, so I may have to get them in the future. But it seems silly really as I'll be lifting less weight in one hit  - but more!

And I had a rather large glass of red last night Mich, was abit early when I was unloading the feed and I had a lot to do in the arvo!  ;D

Good to hear you are feeling better Obbie.

Nikkit, 25 is more doable, our chook food comes in 25k.  If you screw your back you wont be able to do any and then you will be in strife. Ask Astarra, shes feeling it with one wrist out of action. From one who knows the perils of a bad back, go for 25kilos  and a more trips.

Not only the back Nikkit but prolapses can also be caused by lifting heavy weights (not just childbirth which is usually blamed).  I've  always done heavy work and lifted things other women wouldn't have attempted, moved heavy furniture on my own - anything really, just to get a job done and being impatient and not waiting for a man to be around that could help me.  This independence is  in my genes but I have paid the consequences in the past.

You don't want a prolapse Nikkit,  I got one after Mum passed and I sold her house and moved all,the heavy furniture, thought I was super woman,  Wrong....not nice...all fixed now  ;D
