Freezing weather for the lake dump swim Chookie ! Hockey for DD today cold and windy , bite to eat home to a very quiet house , DH needed his deliveroo , minestrone soup ( pink beetroot) , to paddock! Home to the fire .

My kitchen/dining room floor got a much needed vacuum and steam clean. Did a few loads of washing. Just did really boring household chores here today.

Same here CC. Washing, ironing and prepared a SD loaf to go into the fridge overnight and have a Classic loaf rising.

Cookie, lovely photo.  Last weekend was Heritage Weekend in Ballarat.  There were lots of interesting old cars parked in groups around the city.
Yesterday I went to Charity raising event.  It was called a Long Morning Tea but was actually lunch. The money raised was for Cancer research.
I sat next to a 94 year old woman who lives independently in a village. The food was awful but I enjoyed the company of the other woman at our table.

I notice the leading car's front door is open ... did the driver get out and walk because it was faster than driving??

DD played hockey tonight , they won and she got two goals . She does so well when we are not there mmmm ! Bring on tomorrow DS game and rugging up , must remember the towels so it does not rain !

I had the electrician in today fitting more down lights and power points then I picked Mum up to take her for a haircut at her old hairdresser’s place as she is retiring this year.  Mum didn’t remember her but really enjoyed herself when she wasn’t sleeping LOL.  I bought her home to see my garden and how the kitchen etc renovations were going and she was very interested in everything.  At the end of the day I don’t know who was more tired - her or me!

Huge day for you Judy , I am sure the renovations look great .
Hockey for DS he made two goals , score 4 -4  . Now he did forget his mouth guard, that means no playing ... he ran all the way back to boarding house ran back , missed the start but played really well . DH seeding .

LOL. No Marina he got out to listen to the men explaining the race track to us. They explained why this was called the ? Straight, and who each corner was named after and why.

This morning I had to go up to the local T shop and sign the documentation for our NBN. I also picked up our modem. So it should all be fixed in a week or so.

Being lovely sunny weather these past two days I decided to refurbish outside a pine chest that was water stained badly on the top. I removed the wax with a cleaner. When dried out I did the first step of sanding.Today I’ve sanded again with higher grades of sandpaper. Then I gave the chest three coats of wax polish. I expect my arm will ache tomorrow 😂
