Marina, lucky compost. Great for the garden. My next door neighbour grew up in Guildford. Have forgotten her surname but her father was awarded an award for services to the local community. Her mother now lives in Castlemaine.
Cleaning up the kitchen after my little neighbor came to visit. He was in disgrace so I said to his father to send him in. He helped me wash the car and hosed himself. Then we made waffles. He ate several before he took the rest home.
I think he would have loved that Chookie.

Isn't it fantastic to have such wonderful neighbours ... the wee one sounds like a bit of a character and what a fun learning experience he has with you as neighbour.

What fun Chookie .  A day at home ! We did the return trip on Sunday night , all three drove . It was huge after doing the Uni open day . Left at 3.30 home at 11pm . Well yesterday we went to a sheep show , that was crazy . DS had to then play a game of hockey at 7pm ! Today he went to A clay target event and back to do a Maths Sac after school . Meanwhile DH is out spreading Urea on the crops . So naturally I had a very quiet day .

I spent 3 hours at a hospital yesterday having a barrium swallow and xrays .  Still trying to solve my oesophagus problems.  I'm having lots of trouble getting food to go down as it just wants to come back.  It's a great way to lose a bit of weight but not ideal.  I'll see the specialist in a couple of weeks for the results.

That’s not good at all Mab. I hope the results are ok.
I did my food shopping this morning and went to the podiatrist this afternoon.

Good luck with the results Margaret, your swallowing problems must be making your life very difficult. Fingers crossed for you.

Thank you ladies.  I'll get the result on the 22nd Aug.

Supermarket shopping this morning and then DS called in for lunch and brought chicken & chips.  I couldn't eat them.

A day at home today, sun is shining and I decided to get a start to my spring cleaning. Did the windows and tiled floors, cleaning the fans is my next job once I’ve recovered.

Mab, I feel for you. Hope the horrible tests reveal what the problem is and they can do something about it.
It is cold again.  Judy, no sign of spring here.
I’m enjoying the photos DD is sending from  Thursday Island. They sent a Helicopter, landed on the beach to take her to an Islander basket weaving class.
Yesterday I booked to go on a cruise.  Friends are going and suggested that I might like to go also.
It’s the Queen Elizabeth and I feel good about this as it’s the same ship Ral and I traveled on 3 years ago. It’s 14 days and travelling around New Zealand. It’s a Xmas and New Year cruise.

The cruise sounds interesting Chookie. After a showery start to the day it fined up.
I just pottered round.
