I actually find that my favourites have changed. I would now list bread as number one and probably fruit foams as 2 and biscuits as 3. I'll probably change my mind again next week too.

Well, you're doing better than me, Cookie!  I have never got around to putting in my penny's worth to this thread, as I can never decide what my 10 favourites are!!!!!  :-))

Bread
Cakes
Custard
rice
steaming generally
Jams & chutneys

would have to appear there.  But I really don't know - I use it for everything, so I can never really separate out what I use it for - if that makes any sense!!!  :D
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

I am the Queen of Procrastination!  Uni exams in two weeks  :( so everything is more interesting.  I think I just spotted some dirt under the fridge, so I'd better pull it out and clean under it ;).

This is my last semester after studying for 5 years and having 2 kids along the way.  So we're pretty excited about getting this over and done with.  At some stage I'll have to consider CPA which means more study :'( :-\...

Well done Cathy. Exams seem to affect the entire family. Some how we all survive, but at the time it seems very hard.

Good luck to everyone who has exams.

Do you know the saying "it takes a village to raise a child"?  Well the same goes for a uni student.  It is definitely a group effort.  Thanks to all the families who support us out there, on behalf of all the studying people!

Glad you like custard!  I make a two batches in a row about twice a week.  My girls ask for it every day.

Frozen custard ice-cream sounds amazing, is that in any of the books, I have had my TM3 for 3 weeks now, it amazes me each time I use it.
Made ice-cream yesterday with the recipe, I had seen on this forum, I froze the cream in ice cube trays, then added it to a large punnet of fresh strawberries, It was yummy.  (used sugar as well first)
