Worried no more!!!!!

I received my thermomix 3 days ago and my husband is already saying what a great buy!!!
I've made :
smoothies for the kids every day
2 lots of soup for lunch
chicken risotto (which came out glug as I forgot to put it on :-: and I couldn't even SEE the chicken!)
bread rolls (nice but a bit dry cos i forgot the oil! - lesson learnt - read the recipe carefully!! :-\)
best mashed potato ever
best bolognese ever (as voted by hubbie)
apple crumble for yesterdays dessert
crepe batter for today's dessert (this is hubbies specialty and he was so impressed at the literal seconds it took to put together)

Nothing overly exciting but in a way that's the beauty of it - you can make things you normally make but so much more conveniently and quickly!!!
Sorry I know I am preaching to the converted but I am so excited by it all  :D

oh dear - I was just saying to hubbie that it means we're going to be eating a lot more desserts etc cos its all so much easier!

He doesn't care about an expanding waistline  -
I , on the other hand, and being dragged out by a friend to do kickboxing for fitness of all things!!  - so not fair!! But worth it to be able to enjoy my thermomix

As for what I've named it ..... well, I'll have to give it some thought :-))  What's yours called??????

You are going great guns Luisa and yes, you are right, most things the TMX does are simple, everyday type things - almost like going back to basic home cooking like our grandmothers did.  There are some nice recipes though, a little bit more upmarket and suitable for dinner parties.  You have learnt early - read the recipe :( :(  Failure to do so can make or break a recipe and it doesn't matter how long you have had it or how many times you've done a recipe, it always pays to read it and not trust your memory.

I wonder if there has ever been a divorce caused by the TMX :D :D :D :D
JD - don't know if they have caused any divorces but perhaps pushed things over the edge if there were issues already!  ;)

Welcome. I wonder if you have your TMX yet. I"ve found that all my family love to use the TMX. In fact it was my DH who persuaded me to buy one.
Imagine who would get the TMX in a divorce. Blow fighting over the children, the fight would be over the TMX. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
