I'd love to see your new car Amy! It's very exciting! I remember my first car was an absolute bomb that would always stall when you turned left!!  ??? ??? Lucky it would start again!  ;)

Its a very little car.... only 3 cylinder ;D

Robyn, its a Daihatsu. Can't remember what sort, but I'm not very good with car names :-)) Its a sort of silvery colour... :)

GHM my DH sounds just like yours and I am worried for you, but not sure how you should tackle the topic with him. Maybe you should subtly suggest to show him some tips on how to use it?

It is probably a Charade or a Sirion though it could be a Cuore. Nothing wrong with any of these as a first car.
