Think mine is going to be a Dalmatian now. Just not sure if it will be black on white or white on black???

I bet dalmations laugh at us when we try to figure out which way the colours go
I read that dalmations can be a bit aggressive....

THey are more protective than aggressive.  They were bred as carriage dogs. They would run alongside the carriage or between the horses and if highwaymen tried to attack the carraige the dogs would try to protect the occupants. Hence there stamina and protectiveness.

And they are black or liver spots on white. Dalmatian puppies are born white and develop there spots after a few weeks.

So the stamina and protectiveness would be why they were used commonly as firefighting dogs?

I am happy because the Apple store have replaced my phone.  DD took it with her to Perth and went into the Apple store for me. Now I just have to wait for her to get back on Wed.

Happy that I'm back on the forum, though there are 20 pages of threads that I haven't read!   

We have had our 21 month old grandson staying with us for the past 9 1/2 days and so I have been flat out.  Thoroughly enjoyed it though and hope it's not too long before he stays again (though maybe a bit shorter stay  )
