That's great Jen, is she going to be living with you or setting up home somewhere else nearby maybe?

JD she is staying with us atm until she finds a new job and a place to live. It's lovely having her home again, I have really missed her.
She is loving being back in the warm weather, we just spoke to MIL, who lives in Hobart and there's snow on the mountain today. Wednesday it was 29 today it's 15.

That is nice for you Jen - I am not looking forward to my girls moving out.
Thankfully it will be quite a few years away yet!

You may change your mind Astarra after seeing your four daughters through their teenage years,

Ok ow what you mean Gert - I keep warning my DH that I'll be the one leaving home for a few years until the kids are past the teenage years
I'm happy today because I have a beautiful iris flowering. I thought that I'd had all my apricot plants stolen, but this was flowering when I got home this evening. I picked the flower spike, and I'll be moving the plant tomorrow into the back yard so that it's safe.

I have never seen that colour ES, no wonder the others were stolen. Great idea to move it before it too walks.

Thanks - they are my favourite flower. I also have a dark purple, a light purple, a dark and light purple, and white, and they all flower at different times. I'd plant more if I had more room.

Jeninwa that is lovely for you both.
ES what a lovely iris. I didn't know they came in that colour either.

Lovely iris ES.
My friend has an iris nursery down in Pearcedale in Victoria. Just imagine a field of them, they are a magnificent sight.
