Nice to hear Den, taking time out for yourself works wonders.

Good on you Den.

Sew Judy? Is that a joke?  I have absolutely no skills whatsoever. Not a craft bone in my body. I can barely sew on a button.

I haven't sewn anything (apart from mending or taking hems up) for years Gert, never did enjoy it like I did knitting but I made all the girls clothes when they were little, something to do and it saved me a lot of money way back then.  Nowadays you can pick up great bargains with clothes at end of season clearances, it's hardly worth making them, well certainly not for me.

Sewing was sort of the done thing many years afo wasn't it?  My Mum made my clothes and I made DD's clothes for many years. It certainly saved money. When we were in Broome I made my own clothes as at the time I couldn't buy any up there.
As you say Judy, now it is so much cheaper to pop into a shop and buy them. There is no way you could make kids clothes as cheap as Target and K Mart have them.

I'm so excited I could burst  ;D  My DD & SIL have bought me a football membership, sitting in a place where it seemed impossible for me to buy a seat.  What a great week I'm having, firstly with the help from BIL to clean out the garage and now Melbourne SIL succeeding where I failed.  An early Mothers Day and birthday present, I am so happy. ;D ;D

Gert you look fabulous - if I was going I'd make a beeline to sit next to you. I suppose everyone though is there to have some fun with likeminded chatty women and it wouldn't matter who you were seated with. Great to have such thoughtful family JD who knew you would enjoy the membership.

Yes Wonder, I will go on my own as I did years ago when I was able to leave Geoff home alone.  Then Mum moved closer so she came with me for 2 years before it was all too much for her.  I really don't mind being on my own and the train is nearby so it is very easy to get to and from the city venue. My friends either don't follow football at all or barrack for the other Adelaide team.

I would go to all home games if I lived in Adelaide.  :D
