Congratulations for both you and your DS BeezeeBee.

Jeniwa, you must be thrilled. I'm with Astaraa I'll be lost when my DD leaves home, she was pretty good through her teenage years and I love having her and her friends around. DS might be a different thing altogether  ;D

Congratulations on 2 counts BZZ - please pass my congratulations onto DS, great effort.

Looking at frocks in shops lately, those in their 60's would see a marked resemblance to what we wore in our teens - if we'd hung onto them for the past 50+ years (and could still fit into them  :P) we would totally be in fashion.  The hems may have to come up a bit though as everything seems so short and aimed at the younger bodies these days.

Thanks Wonder, Judy and Robyn. We just found out that our school principal was at the ceremony. He managed to watch DS receiving his cert before taking off :)

I'm happy that DD treated me to The Hopetoun Tea Rooms high tea today. 5 hours later I am still stuffed like a goose!

A big congratulations BZB you must be so proud of your DS and fitting into your dress. ;D
I know what you mean about feeling sad when the kids leave home as I still miss mine although we now have 11 GK's that more than make up for it as they are at our place constantly. So look on the bright side girls as although life changes and our children grow up and leave the nest they aways come back and bring their beautiful babes  into the family circle. They are all so special and a treasure and we wouldn't be without any of them. They enrich our lives beyond belief.

Thanks MF :)

I hope to be as blessed as you, MF. To have your kids and grandkids surrounding you with love. I was in tears yesterday when reading some nostalgic comments about babies on Facebook. I miss those days. To look into my babies' big beautiful eyes, and holding their tiny teeny fingers. I dread the future when they will all leave to seek their own lives. I try to tell myself to just enjoy the moments now, amidst the chaos of boys and their constant noise.
