I was just finishing my porridge when I came upon this thread.

Mcmich had poached egg.  Yum.

Suddenly my porridge seems boring but I know what I'm having for lunch now.  :-)
I do the best I can

Fish fillets and a banana... ???

 :o :o :o
At least it was well balanced Astarra ;D Protein in your fish and complex carbs and vitamins in your banana ;)

And remember that Dr Who had fish fingers and custard for a midnight snack after he regenerated last time, so fish fillets and a banana isn't so bad :D

I just mixed up 1 kilo of southern US style pork sausage to make biscuits and gravy for breakfast tomorrow morning.

For the un-initiated biscuits are like buttermilk scones and gravy is a made by cooking the sausage meat like you would mince for savoury mince or spag bol and then making a white gravy using the fat from the sausage, milk, pepper and flour. Once this thickens the cooked sausage is added back in.  The gravy is served over a biscuit.

A very thin slice of toated damper. Don't want to fill up too much eating out for lunch today.
