I did the weetbix smoothie this morning. I am at DD's house and she obviously doesn't eat weetbix often. There were a few weevils in them. I used them any way, a bit of extra protein never hurts.

In the days of wooden ships and iron men the ships biscuits (hard tack) always had weevils in them. It didn't kill them. (The scurvy and and everything else did.)

Amy is right den, that is gross.
I had weevils in wholemeal flour once. flushed them down the sink with boiling water. Am still grossed out by the experience.

I think I might need to try those craisin maple scones too.....I've run out of maple syrup though, so I might need to make another trip to Costco:D
I saved breakfast for High Tea today :o

Back to smoothies tomorrow. I'm trying to get into a routine before I go back to work!
