had to post today because I had a boiled egg on toast - no greens in the fridge for my standard smoothie.

Homemade whole grain toast with homemade peanut butter and honey!
Yummy on a cold damp morning.

Stayed at airport hotel in Melb last night before going to chookies today.  I didn't want a big breakfast, so asked for just a  serve of Bircher muesli, instead of the full buffet breakfast.  I got a smallish drinking glass, only just half filled with fairly bland and dry Bircher muesli, and was charged $8 for it  :o :o. Not even a coffee to go with it either

Muesli is the current option for me.
A mix of several hearty, no sugar, varieties, with extra oats added to economise.  Sometimes with extra fruit on, banana, or raspberries from the garden.
