Thankyou Judy, Mab, Cookie and Cornish.  :D

I used up the left over banana and mango by adding a bit of natural yoghurt to them and then pureeing in the TM.  Had enough mixture to pour into 2 ice block moulds, will be great for the upcoming hot couple of days.  ;D

Yesterday I made up a batch of this lovely granola from the blog below.  So quick and easy to make and tastes wonderful.

I had a ½ cup scoop this morning with reduced fat milk and a few fresh blueberries.  I can't imagine anyone not liking it.  ;D

I'll keep my container in the fridge while it's summer.

As this is a UK site, remember that the tablespoons are equal to 3 tsp here in Oz.  :D

Another delicious looking breakfast JulieO.  The sugar free version on the site also looks nice.

Delicious JulieO.
I found that a lot of the spoon sets sold are 15ml tablespoons. I bought one especially to use for UK and US recipes.

Thanks girls, it's very nice.

Yes I have both Cookie.  Doesn't matter too much with some things but in cases like spices etc that extra tsp can make a lot of difference.  ;D

I made this delicious breakfast this morning, from the 5:2 diet.  So enjoyed it and because my pear was really ripe it added more sweetness than normal.

Not the best light outside this morning when I took the photo but you get the idea.  :D

SEASONAL FRUIT BREKKIE BAKE serves 1 – 275 cals (5:2 diet)
1 pear, peeled, cored and sliced into rounds
1 red apple, peeled, cored, halved and sliced into half moons
1 tsp raisins
1 strawberry, cut into quarters, lengthways
2 tbsp rolled oats combined with 1 tsp honey (used pure maple syrup)
2 tsp no fat nat yoghurt with a small pinch ground cinnamon (used Greek style)

Combine apple, pear and raisins in a small baking dish.
Turn Turbo oven to 180C and bake 10 mins. (just preheat your oven and bake for 10-15 mins until fruit is tender but not dried out).

Add the sliced strawberry and sprinkle with combined oats and honey/maple syrup.  Bake 5 mins until toasted and fruit is tender.

Serve topped with yoghurt.

I'm loving your breakfast Julie. Think I will make one of the granola  recipes for DH. We are nearly out of Tenina's one. That macaroon one sounds interesting.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Today's breakfast was 'Breakfast crumble with cinnamon yoghurt'.  I can't post the ingredient quantites as it's a MB recipe, but I can say the filling is pureed apple and strawberries, topped with natural yoghurt with a little ground cinnamon added and the top was granola (used what I made a couple of days ago).

I pre-made it yesterday so i could just take it out of the fridge this morning.  The granola stayed crunchy so was pleased about that.  Another one I really enjoyed.  :)
