This morning I toasted one of the new English Crumpets. Had poached egg on one half and peanut butter on other half.  They are small and toast up crunchy.

Rye with Caraway seed toast with scrambled eggs with parsley.
Was very creative with one of my bread disasters.  I was trying to make a  SD loaf with just dark rye flour. i was so disgusted with the result that I left it on bench overnight.  Next day made a mixture of 200 g bread flour , 2 teaspoons yeast, 260 warm water and 300 g of the rye dough. TMX , did the work. Made 3 loaves.  Olive, Caraway and fruit.  Pleased as all very good and I didn’t waste the original mix.

Very nice Michele.
Most mornings I have 1 home grown egg on 1 piece of toast and a large cup of tea.  Sometimes I poach the egg, sometimes I scramble it and sometimes French toast. Lately I have been having grilled cherry tomatoes from the garden as well.
Just for variety, I sometimes have a grilled kipper or a small piece of grilled black pudding.

During iso we have been having DS cooking Dutch baby pancakes , cooked in a Le cresute 22cm pan in the very hot oven , dusted with icing sugar and topped with strawberries! It makes one and we quarter it to each have a piece . It is the most spectacular sight when just out of the oven , really high .
