That's a fair way Robyn.

Funny story because DH is away today I was thinking about have McDonalds for dinner as I have to pick up DS after his piano lesson on the way home from work, then I remembered we were having it for breakfast so I said to Jed my DS I had risotto in the freezer so he said he will have that as it is better than McDonalds, since I have had my TM he much prefers this food to junk food

Our closest Maccas in 25 minutes from home.
My kids have been there twice now..

I can beat that Robyn. My Closest Maccas is 75 minutes away in a town that you would not go to unless you had a specific reason to visit it or were passing through to a bigger regional centre on the coast.

I do sometimes like an egg mcmuffin, but only once in a blue moon and that is usually enough to last me at least 6 months.

This morning I had muesli with yoghurt and strawberries.

Dash, If I go in the other direction, its 70 klms and 1 hour drive to a Maccas... :)

My kids like the ice cream.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

If I go to the nearest one that is on the way to the city it is 165km and about 1.5 hrs. I only usually stop for coffee from the Mac Cafe when I miss MuzBuz, the drive through coffee shop.

I treat myself to a coffee from the drive through occasionally when I'm working on Saturday.
Although we have a an Aldi pod coffee maker at work now and it does a very nice coffee for free.
