Finished my book and realised I haven't downloaded a spare back up, will have a look here for a suggestion. If I wake up in the middle of the night I will be lost without a book  :-[

I've got that one in paperback as it wasn't available as an ebook a couple of months back. Problem is a) its a paperback and I love that the of reading now     And b) I was about halfway thru when I had to start anther book and I find it hard going back. It's the art f book tho that I haven forgotten what was going on.

I downloaded "jack of diamonds" but I have to re read the first chapter cos I've read it as a sample ages ago and I haven't checked my account to see if I've previously read it. Don't like reading the same book twice.

CP that is awful. It won't happen to me as I have about 100 unread books on my ereader. Can't resist buying them. Which reminds me as soon as the storm passes I must go and download the new Lisa Gardner.

I thought I was the only person who did things like that.

I keep buying books and downloading freebies  and can't seem to stop. Every time someone recommends one I have to have it. I better stop looking at this thread!

The first chapter is really long so there is a lot to re-read. Think I can go ahead and read on without worrying that I've read it before. I've seen the new paperwhite in Dick Smith for $169

I've recently read The Descendants, The Thief Lord (for young teens), The Secrets Between Us, and The Life of Pi. Enjoyed them all. Currently reading Wool, which will be followed by A Discovery of Witches.

Thanks to those who recommended Jack Reacher - hubby very much enjoying his Christmas present of the 1st four.

I have to say I was a bit disappointed in Gone Girl Wonder. It was okay but didn't live up to expectations and very slow at the beginning.

I too struggled with Gone Girl,  found it very hard going.
