Sometimes its just impossible and really time consuming to open up each topic. What I do is go to the Home page, go down the bottom where it says "View the most recent posts on the forum." click on that and just read through all the recent postings and comment on the odd one here and there
I then get to the point where I last read, and then click on "Show unread posts since last visit" up the top next to my avatar and delete them all so I don't have 1,000's of unread ones.

I can't keep up with everything I always check the chit chat and main meals and anything else if I have time. Quiet times at work I can get onto the forum

I used to try and post on everything. Now a days I tend to read some carefully and skim others. It used to be able to be done in an hour, but not anymore. I find with the ipad I can now have a look after dinner while I watch TV.

I don't keep up unfortunately, no way I would have the time. Every few days I mark all posts as read and try to start over.

Cookie does love her ipad. Between TMX, ipad and books there isn't much time for anything else.
I have downloaded an app called Little Things. DD put me onto it. I can't put it down. You have to find little things in a big picture to ultimately solve a puzzle which moves you on to bigger and better things. An amazing time waster.

I don't want to hear it cookie. I have angry birds which I have not touched in about 6 months. I do not want to start on games again. This forum is bad enough.

Angry birds is another work place favourite along with shades of grey. I haven't done either.

This is rather addictive, isn't it?
My iPad makes it easy to dip in and out of the forum. I often have it on my lap in the evenings whilst the TV is on.
I even take it to swimming training, tether it to my phone and catch up for an hour. Problem is, last month for the first time ever, I went over my data plan and had to pay more for my phone.
