Miss 5 just came to me and said "can you put on the computer that the lamb's name is Leo." I said "where on the computer...?" She said "on forum thermomix of course, where else do you go on there?"  :-))  :D

Leo the lamb - tell DD it's a nice name and it's good to hear she knows all about this forum at the ripe old age of 5  :D

Oh Leo is utterly adorable! Surely I'm not the only one who desperately wants a lamb now? My misses 3 & 5 would certainly love it and I think DP would be just as besotted  ;D

If you live somewhere without close neighbors then a pet lamb is perfect. But like me with close neighbors I don't think it's ideal, I was constantly worried about the noise they make, and I'm sure my neighbors were relieved when the lamb finally went back to the farm lol :D

We too had orphan lambs to hand rear as children.  If your lamb is male then have him 'fixed' otherwise he will turn into an aggressive territorial sh*t and headbutt (to the floor) anyone.
We called our one Lucifer - the ewes however were lovely (Lucy and Lucille)....

HTH!

Thank you all for the kind comments, Leo lamb sure is a cutey...he is getting a tail ring and the other thing too this weekend...don't think I'll be able to watch!!  :)
We have only a deaf old lady neighbour one side, a paddock (with sheep in it) behind, and a young family on the other side, none seem to mind him bleating thankfully, tho he doesn't make as much noise as a paddock of sheep!!  :)

Lol. Well that's good then. We have 7 neighbors surrounding us on all sides as we have an internal block. And some are not very tolerant of noise, but they don't mind their dogs barking constantly all day :(
At least a lamb is only for a few weeks until they are big enough to go back to the farm. Bloody dogs are there for years.
We have dogs but if they bark I will tell them off. Other people have dogs and don't stop them barking so they keep doing it :(
