This sounds perfect.  Just wondering thought, can I use a tawny port rather than white wine?   ???

Thanks.  I've gone white this time too.  Sometimes you need to follow the rules before you know which ones you can break. Nearly dinner time!

Last time I made this I used 500g of Tomato Passata instead of a tin of tomatoes and thought it had a better consistency.I've tried it substituting red wine but it's not so good.
