No as it was I ran out of buttercream icing, so there was half a dozen plain ones for the neighbours. That left one for DD1 when she comes over tonight for tea

Needed to make some cupcakes quickly this morning and remembered someone had recommended this recipe.  The words, "fast" and "easy" simply will not suffice as a description!  It was fabulous!!  Toss in, mix, bake, bingo!!  DS tried one and remarked, "These are great!  They're so light!"

Topped them with the vanilla cream frosting  http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6722.0
A marriage made in heaven!!

this is the first time I've tried this cake - and the frosting - Now that I know what we've been missing out on, it'll be made much more often!!  Also keen to try the variations on the frosting thread! ;D
