K Atie, I love Bantams, we had one each when we were kids as well as a few others hens.  The bantam eggs were always for us kids.

K Atie, that is a nice little Chook.  Love their little eggs.  We are still waiting for our new Chooks to start laying.  They should be laying but it has been so cold it may have prevented them from starting.  I am only getting 2 eggs a day.  Just managing as I refuse to buy shop eggs.  If I need lots of eggs for a recipe I will use Aquafab.

Chookie are new ones are not laying all the time it drives me crazy , like you I cannot bring myself to buy them . DS eats all the bantams eggs . Sometimes I think a Fox scares them and they slow thier laying too .
