Amy I grew up on a Cattle Property at Berringama in North East Victoria - 5th generation all the cattle work has been done with horses as it 'High Country'.  I have a slide of me on a horse wearing only a white cloth nappy and my mum holding me at about 4-5 months old.  My first horse was an old bay mare named Flash that my mum had also learnt to ride on.  I went to school at Corryong 'the man from snowy River Country' one of my favourite rides was in 2005 when I rode from Tom Groggin Station to Corryong the route that was taken to bring Jack Riley aka Man from Snowy river to Corryong Hospital he died on the way.

So I guess It is in my DNA  my granma was in the only Australian Mounted girl guides and as 19 year old she rode from Corryong to the top of Mt Mount Kosciuszko and back again witth the Guides.
I will post a photo of the country I learnt to ride in.

I am very lucky I have riden horse all over the world and it a great way to see it!!

Well not really feathers but fluff lol. The feathers will start to appear in about a week or so. :)
Will be pulling them out of the nest in a little less than 2 weeks when Amy is 3 weeks old :)

Yes Michelle, actually it's the best time to start hand rearing as they become extremely quiet and start thinking they are almost human :)

And Astarra it's to hand rear them to make them quiet, will sell them once they no longer need formula and can eat seed and fruit and veggies on their own. They make great pets and have great personalities :)
