It's more than rude, it's outright pliagiarism. Personally I would be reporting this to Vorwerk or HO.

I too would be so peeved with it myself.I have had a few of my photo's "stolen" with the person having the cheek to claim they took the photo themselves. I now only post photo's with some  sort of watermark on them to make it a little harder for people like this. I would be reporting this to the higher authority Maddy if I were you. Its just not on.. >:(

I see on Quirky Jo's blog that her book is nearing completion.  Very much looking forward to that one.

Interesting that the person hasn't noticed this thread and come out and apologised.

I agree, but it would be hard for her to acknowledge this now.  It is the right thing to do and would take a strong person to do so at this stage; I guess the best we can hope for is that she feels the weight of our disapproval and never does it again.

True Marina, but it's much easier to admit a mistake and apologies online than face to face. I just worry that she will feel like she can't contribute here in the future for fear of being "found out", if she was to admit her mistake I'm sure everyone would be happy to just move on and forget about it and it would surely be a weight off her shoulders. I guess I'm assuming the individual does acknowledge that she has done the wrong thing which maybe a big assumption on my part.

Just replace all the text if you can't delete the recipe .............. (with a recipe that's had really awful reviews lol)

I tried to remove my recipe yesterday without any luck - good idea about replacing it.

Maddy I read the comments you put down the bottom and thought they were actually too diplomatic.

I would probably have made a comment that this recipe is very similar/the same as one you posted here.  Whilst you have no problems with people being inspired by your recipes you are offended when someone plagiarizes your work completely and unedited. One of the greatest things about the Internet is that it encourages free sharing of recipes, information, etc but when people steal ideas that someone has worked so hard to develop and given freely on the Internet it leaves a bad taste in people's mouth.

Copying is not cool

Maddy, if everyone does that, they'll be wondering what on earth is going on lol.  Probably makes more of a statement than simply removing them hey !
