Introductions from Cookiemother2

Hello, hello!
I'm Cookiemother2, I like to cook, I enjoy my husband and our three kids....
After years of wanting a TM and being determined to be cheerful about doing what I can in the kitchen while I wait, my "one day" will arrive sometime in the next fortnight! :-D
I'm very excited about getting stuck into making more from scratch, and having less "packet" stuff in my pantry, buying more in bulk, less from Coles.
Looking forward to having this lovely community to get to know!
:-)

A most warm welcome to the forum, CM2! You'll really enjoy your TMX - it and this forum go hand in hand and you'll find all the help, advice, and recipes you'll ever need.
Have you checked out the list of CreamPuff's favourites yet? There are enough tried and tested recipes on there to last you quite a while!! Good luck!!

Hello and welcome CM2. You are a very patient person waiting years for your TMX so you will soon be rewarded with your extra pair of hands in the kitchen and you will love it. Let us know when it arrives and what you are cooking won't you?

Hiya! And welcome!
I've had my tmx for nearly three weeks an LOVE it! It is wonderful to be able to quickly make things from scratch! Because if this though, my pantry is now crowded with 'packet' type things I don't think I'll ever use again!
So from one newbie to another my advice is to use up all those things before it arrives! And my other piece of advice is to start reading up here on recipes you want to make and write up a grocery list so you are ready to go! I've found I use lots more garlic, olive oil, onions and parmesan cheese than ever before! Oh and be sure to have a couple of litres of vinegar on hand for cleaning the tmx!
