I love how you can take your toaster on your picnic astarra ;)

We had a turkey salad for lunch.

Going for a drive into the Swan Valley for lunch at a winery with DD2's MIL from Zimbabwe. She goes home on 22nd. Been a quick 3 months,  :(
Not sure which winery yet but should be a nice day out. Thinking of asking my mum as well.

Sounds nice MF.  Is this the first time your DD's MIL has visited Perth?  If so, what does she think of our country?  I hope your Mum takes you up on your invitation.  If not, I'm available - well not really, I have my carers' meeting this afternoon  ;D

She has been here 3 times previously Judy  and just loves Australia. She would dearly love to live here but impossible for her to obtain a residents visa. I really feel for her as she only has DD's children as no GK's yet in Zimbabwe. I have tried to step back so she could have time on her own with them as I can see them anytime and usually everyday. We all went to Zimbabwe 2 and 1/2 years ago and it was a wonderful experience.
Pity about your carer's meeting, maybe next time  ;D
Mum not coming as she has a specialist appointment and no doubt if she cancelled she would have to wait a long time for a new appointment.

I've got sick of salads, so now that the weather is a little cooler, i have dug some pea and ham soup out of the freezer.
