Up there for thinking Gert!

Mine still haven't arrived. Usually stuff arrives really quickly from Helene, but not this time. It'll be AusPost holding it up, not Canada Post, for sure.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Today I have cleaned my oven racks - came up well but what I was really impressed with was how it bought the glass stove top up. I used the scrubbie and a bit of gumption and dried it off with paper towel. It sparkles.

Two large ones sewn together JD.

Gert

Yes but I'm a lazy devil when it comes to sewing.  A big one may be all I need rather than a mitt - I'll wait until I order and receive my pack Gretchen then see what I think of the big one.

I did what CC suggested, put my kitchen scrubby in the dishwasher (made a hole in it and hung it on a hook) and will do this on a daily basis.

I used mine to clean the bugs of the windscreen after driving home from Perth. I jut sprayed the windscreen with some window cleaner and gave it a quick scrub. All the dried on bugs came off easy peasy.

Sounds good JD - I forgot to put mine in when I started the dishwasher.
Tomorrow the cleaner starts, (Yah and doubleYah). So will try the shower screens later in the week.

I don't have a dish washer and I don't think putting it inside DH will get it clean :)

Don't think you had better do that Cookie LOL. Such a handy little thing to have, one is certainly not enough.

Were you cleaning  because the cleaner is coming?. Hand the scrubby to her and tell HER to do the shower screens.

You are funny mcmich.

I've just been washing mine, in hot soapy water, used it to clean the glass on the inside the oven came up a treat.

I pined the scrubbies on pin it and linked to my FB and my friend in Canada commented that they had them there. lol
Had to tell her that's where it came from :D
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

These are fantastic.  We get a bit of scum on the shower floor from the tank water and soap.  I put it under my foot while having a shower and rubbed it around.  All gone,  great.

No, I wasn't cleaning for the cleaner. She starts today, so later in the week the shower will need doing again.
No way I'm cleaning for the cleaner. I have SIL that hand washes all dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. CRAZY.
