these were delicious I did cook the sauce for another 4 minutes stirring after 2 the sauce is great on ice cream too and today I put some in my chocolate cupcakes

Ooh, that looks delectable!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

We have just finished the last from the freezer. Hardest part is freezing sauce in small enough amounts to go with each pud.

Must make again. Visitors loved them last week.

DJ, I've seen frozen pre prepared ones in the shops with a layer of sauce on top of them. I wonder if you could do that?

Yup good idea maybe put the sauce on the top in the muffin case and then heat whole thing. But clever thing would be to remove case while still frozen, save sticky mess!

Just wanted to check . . when freezing, does this go into the freezer after baking  . . or up to a point, frozen, and then baking later?

didn't have a chance to freeze any::) but I would freeze them already cooked I think dj was going to see how they go she'll probably be able to help you ;D
you could easily just make the sauce when you need it and have the puddings already done

Yes GF freeze after cooking. I make them into muffins, I also make the sauce up the day before, then just reheat in microwave.
