Enjoy MF. I'm glad you found Max Brenners, now I know where the German pub is.
I love Ion in Orchard road, could spend all day there looking. I have to wait until next March. :'(

Our sight seeing in March will consist of a trip to Changi POW as we haven't been there yet and to the new Legoland just opened in Maylasia. We usually try to fit in a couple of 'looking' days as well as shopping.

That sounds good Chookie. We are the same and like doing something's other than shopping.
We went to Changi POW years ago and found it very interesting. Haven't been to Legoland so
will be interested to hear your thoughts on it.
This time for us just the usual but Grand Prix a first. Personally I am not a great fan and would
enjoy it more on tv but I will enjoy the experience.

I agree it's better to watch it on tv but the atmosphere is amazing, so many people and the noise and oh it's just great  ;D ;D

Legoland has just opened in Johor Malaysia. :)

Just read that a tour company here in Singapore is going to be running coaches on weekends to take tourists there departing at 8.30 am

$20 per person for the coach which does not include entry to Legoland.

Would be good day out for kids and adults  :)

I have done the whole taxi thing into Johore. You take a taxi to a street in Singapore where you changeover into a Malaysian taxi .
Fares negotiable and possibly worthwhile for you Hally as only 3 of you.
The driver we had dropped us at various places then waited and brought us back to Singapore to same spot where we then changed to Singapore taxi back
When I came here with friend from Scotland she wanted to go into Malaysia.
I spoke to concierge and hotel car took us to Johor city and Malay cultural village.  I asked driver to take us to a fishing village on stilts for lunch and he took us at no extra charge.
Maybe only certain drivers are licensed to take passengers into Malaysia.

that legoland link was good. looks a great place to take the kids.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.
