Good to know that the base is still crispy when using the silicone liner as I thought it wouldn't be as good as the baking paper  :)

I didn't use the baking paper method because Katie told me it burns.  I used a rectangular shaped thin silicon liner like Chookie would have (because she gave them to me  :-*) but because I've only made 4 pizzas to date mine only has a slightly blackened ring where the pizza sat. I find that shape useful as I make the pizza on it and it's so easy to lift it onto the pizza stone then I just use the paddle thingies to lift it from the pizza stone onto a board to cut.  I am hoping it will still last a long time before it needs replacing.

Chookie, can I please have the name of that particular brand and link to where you bought them as I want to get some more for gift giving.

Made our first pizzas last night (3 of them) with the Bazaar bases.  Didn't use any liners and had no problems with lifting using the paddles - best to use both together than struggle with using just one.  All pizzas turned out well and crispy.  So pleased!!

If its like the "magic" brand of liners, I got some from Aldi for about $2.50 each (?) pkt and there were 2 in the pkt. Cheap cheap, and well worth getting anyway.

I don't use any paper on the bottom and haven't had any problems I use the silver thingies (together) to make it on and slide into machine and then put silver thingies underneath when cooked and put on a chopping board perfect every time

Yvette, I used baking paper in case some of the topping slipped off onto the stone and burnt. I want it to stay nice and clean!

We don't have Aldi in WA, wish we did! I'll have to do a search to find some silicone sheets I can cut up.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Yes it is the magic brand.  Also have some from Simply Delightful.  these are quite expensive.  I think they came from Perth.

Website.     Www.simplydelightful.com.au.

The Magic ones I have had for about 20 years.  These ones I cut up.  For example  I lined my bread making machine bucket with one,  and another for the pizza machine.
I can't see any difference in the 2 brands so go for the cheapest.
I also have some thick ones, like the silmat but these are too thick to use in the pizza machine.  The base wouldn't brown.

Be careful when ordering as they have lots of different sizes.

I have just found the docket for the Simplydelightful,  VERY expensive,  shop around.

CP they came with the machine, they are silver and sort of a half circle with a little handle, did you not get them? There are two when put together they make a circle  :)

Yvette the ones that came with my machine are wooden so they must have changed them. I just sprinkle mine with semolina to help stop  the sticking.  Yours are probably better
