Oh cookie you have seen some wonderful things. What makes the lake pink? Minerals? Residue from mining? So glad you brought us along. Wonderful imaginings along the way seeing all the detritus and monuments of and to the past.

I'm pretty sure the pink lake is made pink by the beta carotene in it.
Today we moved from the friendly, gorgeous Yorketown to Ardrossen .. We stopped for an early coffee at Stansbury, a very pretty place. Then on to Port Vincent which was gorgeous. A small stop at Port Julia which was ok and then on to Ardrossan. We're nearly back up to the top of the Yorke Peninsula. Into Adelaide tomorrow.
Morning tea at Stansbury..
a 1948/49 VW at Port Vincent. Another old car!

Well here we are in Adelaide until next Sunday morning. This afternoon we went for a drive to find Haigh's.. DD has given me an order for chocolate from there; we then went for a drive down to Glenelg but it was very busy so we just kept driving. We then googled and found a food shop near the caravan park ( Mitchum Square) and picked up some food. With the help of the GPS we then found our way back to the caravan park for some R&R..
Nearly forgot, when we pulled in here heaps of Model T cars went by. Of course as soon as we set up we had to go and look!
This was visiting the park. You can just see us back under the trees. It is an Austin 7.
. DH has a ute to build as project 3. He has taken a shine to this one and thinks he will make his like this. This is a Model T but his will be a Model A.. They will look very similar.

Welcome to Adelaide Cookie. Glad that you arrived safely.
Glenelg would have been busy today as it has been lovely and sunny and parking is always difficult - it won't be as busy during the week.
What are you planning on doing whilst you're here?
