I think the kids are still worn out from the weekend (had their uncle's 40th birthday Sat night and they were up until nearly midnight!!).  DD disappeared off to her room while I was cooking tea tonight, and we thought she was playing, but went in to see her and she had put herself to bed - fully dressed, but under the blankets and snuggled up to her caterpillar soft toy.  Awwww, too cute.

DS is also really overtired but he shows it by being emotional and very difficult.  :-))

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

that's very cute Jo, my boys are the same when overtired but my girls would just go to sleep
the boys are doing homework and Lily is resting on the couch which is pretty much all she's done today and me too since she likes to snuggle a lot when not well

Thanks Kim she's picked up a bit so the antibiotics are starting to work,

Probiotics.. Especially after antibiotics.. Its the main thing i give my kids and still give them and they are rarely sick as well of course a healthy diet.. .. For the past few years we have mainly used homéopathic remedies from an md with gréât success.. Works for us..

Have you seen a specialist?? My ds saw a specialist after constant problems and he suggested the removal of his ananoids and he has been fine since.. Think he only had one minor ear infection after and nothing else since.. Its been a few years now.. Maybe something to look at..would def see a specialist to see what your options are.. Its not fun for them to be ill and ear nose and throat probs CAN be painful as u know

I wish i had all my things..they are in storage.. Every time any
Of us got colds even a snifflé we would take this mix of liquid echinacea (not the commercial stuff but a mixture prepared by a homéopathique chemist) mixed with a couple of other plants.. Was better than any other cold remèdy out there but i dont have our médical files with us..sorry.. Loved our gp.. She was really good and knew what worked and what didnt..

Thx Suzanne .. Look also if there is a gp who also is a homeopathe.. I would go with a homéopathic gp over a naturopath unless they were really good??

Hope Lily is feeling better, Suzanne.  :)
Just got home from taking miss3 to the doc - apparently she has inflamed tonsils, enlarged glands and a double ear infection.  :( No wonder the poor child hasn't been herself.  :-[
