Home made gifts are really nice but jams etc unless well packaged don't fair very well in the post.
I think there should be a minimum amount set. Also a date that parcels need to be sent by.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

In regards to dates...

Thursday 1st November - Cut off for expressions of interest. Everyone also email me their postal adresses by this date.
Thursday 7th November - I will send each person the address of their gift recipient.
4th December (three weeks before Christmas) - Presents must be sent by this date.

Thoughts anyone?

Love the idea of a full hamper JD but I think it might get too expensive to send.

Yikes, I didn't mean a full hamper snappy, I only meant an item you would put in a hamper  ;D

$10 if you are making something would go a long way but to buy something you might need between $10 & $20 Amy.

Naturally I want to be in this too please. Just to remind people that sending foodstuffs interstate and probably overseas can be very hard because of quarantine restrictions

Lovely idea Amy.

I'm getting excited. Im the only one that really does gifts at christmas so i always give out a lot but dont get much back so this is a fantastic idea. It's great to bring some of the true Christmas spirit back as well - ithe dollar value isn't so important as the thought. Maybe we should have some type of questions game to help people pick presents?

Yes you are right Cookie, might be easier to just buy something. I have an idea already.

I'm in I love SS's and OS is fine.

You may  want to give details to those who have an overseas person maybe a little earlier so that they get the gift before Christmas I'm not sure if 3wks is long enough to get there, please correct me if I'm wrong  :)

Another point if it's ok when we send Amy our details maybe a few ideas of what we like and don't like eg. I don't like lavender (it gives me migraines) love candles and baking etc I hope you know what I'm trying to say

Awesome, thanks so much everyone! I can't wait to organise this for you all :D

Did you have anything specific in mind Wonder?

That is a good idea too, but it would mean everyone would have to tell me what their gift is. Does that bother anyone? I am happy to spend the time matching people with gifts if that is what everyone wants :) :)
