Today for the first time I made Teninas sundries tomato pesto and it was Devine spread onto toasted sourdough.  Also made the salted caramel macadamia brownies also from Teninas book, they looked good and nice texture but IMO the balance of salt and sweet not quite right they were just not sweet enough, so if I made this again I would add more sugar.

I tried a new banana cake/bread recipe yesterday. It's ok, but I have had better, so I won't post it.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Tried a creamy pesto gnocchi conversion but sauce was far too runny. I think it needs the gnocchi to thicken it but I was too scared to put gnocchi in tmx incase I mushed it! Back to drawing board.

Made banana bread today using a recipe with evap milk in it. Sadly I used the wrong size loaf tin and had mixture oozing out all over oven. Bread is lopsided but tasted nice. Would reduce sugar next time as a bit sweet for my liking. Didn't take photo....too embarrassed by my stuff up!

Keep trying Kimmy, we know you will get it ;)
We all started like that!

I made Hally's spicy rub for lamb chops tonight. Mum and SD loved it, much better than plain steak ;D
