Morning all.
18 dec.

Was sleeping.... The time change of continents takes a bit of getting used to plus my unknown hours.
2 to 9.30pm yesterday, 2 to midnight ( guessing) today.
I never know if i am staying late (like yesterday and last week) or get very short notice ( like day before) for babysitting.

I am 'having my Birthday' on Sunday and going to lunch at my mums and taking all the Christmas goodies.

Do you have to stay late if they don't give you notice? What if you have plans?
I know you can't walk out and leave the children unattended but there must be some sort of nanny union that has guide lines.

Thank you to my Secret Santa.  My parcel has arrived - and it's very safe from me opening it before the 23rd *grin* (I won't be home until late on the 22nd  )

 My sister let me know it arrived today and it is waiting for me.  She has promised not to open it........  I'm trusting her

It has arrived!! It's come all the way from Thailand, and is exquisitly wrapped. Thank you, SS, it's so exciting!
I will take a photo. I have downloaded tapatalk. I have written down 3 ways of posting photos. I will post a photo! (But will have to be later, as going out for tea for DH's birthday).

I was just going to take a photo of my lovely card to show everyone but I discovered the battery was flat in my camera.  I did pm Amy to thank her when I received mine but doing so again publicly as it's a beautifully made card and something I would never have the time nor the patience to do myself which is why I really appreciate hand made cards.  Thanks Amy
