Dede, i agree that It's all very tricky. It's harder to hide santa's identity now that Aust Post wants a signature on the Dangerous Goods and Aviation Security Statement. Maybe I won't send mine yet, or maybe I sent it weeks ago......
If you state on the package what is inside like printed material as in a book you do not have to actually sign the statement. Also what is to stop you from signing in another name. The statement is actually worthless . People send dangerous and hazardous material all the time by air. Don't get me started.
If you choose not to sign the statement it will go buy road and no bugger obeys the rules of DG's by road which are significantly different from DG's by air.
