Thanks Kimmy, Astara and Amy.

Fudge was done today - the teensy bit I sampled was delicious.

I've got my liver soaking and my shallots marinating for tomorrow.

So far so good!!

It sounds fantasitc shkooter!! My advice to you would be to not panic if something doesn't go exactly to plan ;)

That's very good advice Amy. The main thing is that you enjoy your birthday celebrations.

I'll definitely be enjoying the celebrations.  I'm at the end of a 30 day fitness challenge which included no drinking, so once I have a glass of bubbly in my hand all the stress will be forgotten - or at least someone elses problem  ;D

As long as no one touches my thermie  >:(

I'm not doing too badly

Sausage rolls - done
Chicken Parfait - done
Johnro's cookies and cream fudge - done
Vegetarian sausage rolls - filling is prepared (I ran out of puff pastry - d'oh)
Marshmallow fondant - done

Still to do
Cob Loaf - which I'll bake tomorrow. Considering the recipe I decided that having it 2 days old isn't too bad
Spelt Bread Rolls (Saturday)
Dips (prepare Saturday morning)
White Chocolate Cheesecake (prepare Friday)
Fruit platter (to be prepared by DH Saturday)

I'll bake the cake Friday morning, then cut it and decorate it on Friday afternoon and night.  And probably Saturday morning LOL.  If it's a disaster at least Costco isn't too far away  :D

Don't go to Costco shkooter. It is full of over processed cheap rubbish. Even a disaster (which I am sure wont happen) will taste better than their food. :) :) not many more sleeps now ;)

Another good day today

The cob is baked, although I am going to do a second one tomorrow so that I can make a vegetarian cob dip.
Cheesecake is done
Vegetarian sausage rolls are frozen.

Tomorrow will be baking and decorating the cake, cooking another cob, and making the chicken h'or deuvers from the EDC.

 :) Wish me luck!!!!

Yes I agree, you are going great there shkooter. There was never any doubt you could do it and I hope you get lots of praise on Saturday.

Wow, I'm very impressed.

I have DD's party next Saturday, but my thermomix is only coming Fri night beforehand, so just keeping it simple (will def make sorbet though - a couple of her little friends have allergies too, but that will fit the bill.  And a couple of dips).  Will make her cakes (one for playcentre, one for the party) in my stand mixer, and then I'm giving it to Mum (for Xmas)!

But the week after that we are hosting our work Xmas party here - about 30-40 people!  Hope they don't expect toooo much.  There's a decent takeaway place around the corner though if all else fails!
