:D :D  I didn't remember taking your name off Uni but went to put it back on and low and behold it was already there.  Wondered who had done it - penny finally dropped.  You started the thread therefore you can change anything on there  ;D  Nice to see your name back on then, can't wait to meet you after all this time.

I'm a local but even I would like to join you on that tour Amanda and meet some of the stallholders who have featured in your blog.

Yes Judy you  have sadly neglected the wonderful markets. Also what is the name of that super store  for  people like us interested is food and cooking? Is it a wholesale place?

Woohoo!
Nice to see we will be hosting a few of you.
The market is open all day and until late on Friday night.  I'll be happy to take a few around for a bit of a tour if you like - I know a few of the stall holders there.

I would love to join you on the tour Amanda :)
Thinking of arriving Thursday or even Wednesday night. I might then fly to Melbourne and over to tassie while I am that close. Never been to SA before.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

MF, any details that have been decided on are posted on page 1 in the first posting.  Dates chosen are Friday 16th - Sunday 18th August.  There is also a list of people who have put their names down - MJ, guess you want me to remove yours?

Not just yet, Judy. I'm still working on it. Checking flights etc as I can go free with my points, so may be able to scratch something together for accommodation. Hopefully, I'll get some relief teaching this year and can put that away.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I have thought about it Gert.  Will see what date we actually get back to Port Augusta and go from there. After all it will only be a couple of days. DH can get all the washing done while I flit around.

Good to see this is hotting up now that Christmas is over.

It sounds as if the bar at that hotel is going to get a bit of a work out  ;D

I don't drink buy champagne Jen so can't answer that one - will try anything though except heavy reds.  Australian wineries aren't allowed to use the word champagne now are they?  So what is it called these days?

Are you kidding me Jeniwa?  SA  has some great bubbles . Not to say they are better than Tassie's which are wonderful as are the bubbles in WA , VIC and NSW.  Really it would be hard to make a bad wine in Australia eh. In any case we must try them all

Australian Sparkling Wine JD. I saw a bottle of Sparkling Moscato the other day and thought of you.

You did like the Grant Burge  Katie brought you . That comes from Tanunda .

Yes that was very nice Gretchen.  So that could pass as champagne for Jen could it?
