It means every man for himself and not one person is responsible for collecting and paying for the accomodation.

Also if we are in a hotel which is big enough to socialise then the numbers can be flexible.

The only thing we have to then sort is  the tours . Book  And  pay.  Locals would have no reason the stay the night  unless wanted.

I am excited. Air fares will be cheaper too in June or July or August. Now I own a sweater I can go anywhere anytime.

I can't come in June, and July is probably slightly too close to June so I'll stand back on this one unfortunately

Maybe Amanda can get a package for those interstate and the locals another package to mix and match.

Twill be different from the coziness of Gracetown but more practical for some.

There could be a Separate dining area for  Sat night frivolities in the hotel or restaurant.

June 28/29/30 OK for me even though it's Geoff's birthday - as I said to him I will be here the day before and the day afterwards LOL  Birthdays don't worry him.

Amanda calling in a few favours from friends in high places sounds good to me, cheaper rates, nice meal, great trip.   This is starting to sound exciting

Can you give us any idea what choice of trips you have in mind Amanda?

I imagine there will be a lot that went to Gracetown that can't come CP, would love to have met you but I'll be over your way one of these days I'm sure.

Gosh I can't keep up with this. I am doing the Birdsville track next year but I am not sure exactly when. We haven't decided. Naturally I will do my best to be there. The Barossa is a great place to visit, as is Hahdorf and all the other suggestions. I fully understand that different people will go to each forumfest and some lucky folks will make it to all of them. I will be away in Monkey Mia in May and part of June and possibly Singapore earlier in the year.
The idea of everyone meeting up on the first night is great, then we can fly in and get to the hotel under our own steam. Then tours to go from there.
It sounds very exciting.

I'm in too, a hotel in the city sounds great. I've only been to Adelaide once as an adult and it was for a work conference and we only saw the inside of the conference centre and a few bars - I remember very little of the trip. - I've grown up quite a bit since then

Never been to adelaide and was planning on visiting trudy anyway and of course the other lovelies when i was down..
