I have no issue with the logistics of who chooses dates - unfortunately the demands of EQ requires a date sooner rather than later :)

June or August suit me but it all comes down to when Amanda is best able to fit it in so throwing the ball back in her lap to choose a date and set it in concrete.  Hopefully by the end of the day we will have an answer and we can all work around that date.

OK girls, I have spoken to Amanda and mid August it is.  I had the final say on the date, it's always hard to be the one to pick dates as it is never going to suit everyone.  Please put these dates on your calendar, plenty of time to save up as it looks like we will be in a lovely hotel in the middle of the city.  Amanda will put the details up later.

It will be the weekend of Friday 16th August so keep the 16th, 17th & 18th free.  We have late night shopping in the city on Friday night until 9pm, the market is open and is abuzz on Friday nights, Saturday will be our bus trip to wherever and Sunday morning we say our farewells.

This date will now be mentioned on the first posting and any further important information will be posted as it comes to hand.

I'm pleased that you have set a date as that gives everyone a chance to organise things. Robyn EQ is much like the one here.
Having said that I am sorry but I hope/ expect to be somewhere out Birdsville way at that time.  But I had Gracetown this year and Adelaide this year. You never know I may be able to ring you from Maree or somewhere.
I am thrilled asa this year's was such fun. I know it will be next and I will be sad to miss it. My thoughts will be with you all that weekend.

Sorry Hally, even the week later wouldn't have been any good and August seemed to be the preferred date.  It would be impossible to pick a date to suit everyone  :'( :'( :'(

Do we have a rough figure yet of what the hotel will cost?
