Daniel - His late dad and I called him Dano after the 70s show Hawaii 5 O. The end line was always "Book him Dano"

Will he be embarrassed?  It is a lovely photo Michele. My Mum and I were great friends too. In fact she, DD and I were lethal when we went shopping.  The time she died, DD had popped out to do some essential shopping for me ( I had been living at the hospital) and DD had a funny sort of turn at the exact time. I don't believe in those sort of things, but it was odd.

He will pretend to be embarassed Cookie but will probably love it.  :D

My mum, daughter and I can do some damage when we go shopping too.

And a big thanks to Cookie who found the bargain in the first place  ;D

I made the Spanish chicken with lemon rice and peas. A few tweaks due to what I had in pantry and fridge and we both enjoyed it  :D

Yes, thankyou Cookie.

That's good to know MF, I haven't cooked anything out of it yet.

I started browsing the book late last night but only got to page 60 - some great cheap pasta dishes in the book.  I like what I've seen so far - recipes that haven't got an ingredient list as long as your arm really appeal to me.  I'd like to add my thanks to Cookie to for letting us all know about this book and for the lovely Jeninwa for sending me a copy.

It's great when you find a cheap cookbook that is good and has lots of good recipes in.

MF will try that one.

Does anyone have the book "The Baking Bible"? It's a Parragon book.
I do now, just won it on ebay for $8.60 - $13.60 with postage.
