Hi welcome to the forum Minda  :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Hi Minda and welcome, Ouch yes the blades are sharp, i usually take them out over the sink with bowl upturned. i badly scolded my hand when I first got my TM from using the spatula to get the basket out, i find it too awkward [being left handed doesn't help} i also don't use my spatula except for occasionally to scrape down while blades spinning otherwise it is the cheap spatulas for me!! enjoy you cooking/

Hi Minda, Welcome to the forum.  I too have pretty much ditched my TMX spatula and now use my Tupperware silicone spatulas pretty much all the time with Thermie.  Can highly recommend them.

Thanks mcmich... I've not got the vego cookbook yet.... but am certainly keen to give those recipes a try.

I don't think I'll be making anything without checking the forum for tips!

Cheers
