I think I should ask Maddy's permission first. I'll send her a PM.
Chelsea, go ahead and post it, I don't mind at all

I made your Apple Teacake yesterday Chelsea. So fast and so delicious. I had to do some changes. I don't use SR Flour, had no eggs and no butter.
Instead the egg 1mixed 1 tsp ground chia + 1 tsp ground yellow flaxseed with 1 tsp Agave + 3 Tbs water. I used 190g sifted spelt flour + 2 tsp baking powder. Instead butter coconut oil and only 80g Turbinado.

They are fantastic when you have little tots. A very fun way of eating apples (and you can leave the skin on if you want to - not for this recipe though
)!!!

They are fantastic. I often make Bron's apple crumble (recipe in dessert section) and whip it up in no time with my apple slinky. I don't know if I would be bothered making it so often otherwise. Not sure if that's a good thing actually

Good work - no wonder they call it the Apple Isle - the tree is groaning.

If only it had of lasted though
. That tree has been attacked by wasps and all that remain of our beautiful apples are the skins. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen them in action. Another reason to hate wasps!

That's horrid Chelsea. Do they really eat all the flesh part? Another reason to dislike them.

Yes they do Cookie. I watched 6 wasps strip an apple (just leaving the skin) and they did it in under an hour. I just hate them.

That is the beauty of some of these old recipes. They are incredibly versatile.
Must try this one Chelsea and add it to the list of tweaks/edits/replacements for Tenina.
