Hi Mama Mel - and welcome to the forum!

Have a look at this link - Helene, the superkitchenmachine lady, is in Canada.  She suggests using fresh whipping cream with a 33% fat content.

Hope this helps . .

Hello Melissa, welcome to the forum.  How long have you had your Thermomix or did you buy it in America?  Just wondering how you got on with the different electrical systems our countries have if you bought it from Australia.

Hi Melissa. What part of America are you in?

Welcome to the forum Melissa, I make my own butter here in Australia , I prefer what we call Pure cream, no additives or thickener works best for me.

Thanks for all the replies.

Hello Melissa, welcome to the forum.  How long have you had your Thermomix or did you buy it in America?  Just wondering how you got on with the different electrical systems our countries have if you bought it from Australia.
I bought my thermomix in Australia 2 years ago and am running it on a transformer here in the US. So far I have just made my vegetable stock and it heated properly so am confident that it will work properly here.

Hi Melissa. What part of America are you in?
I am living in Florida
